The Cast of ‘Boy Meets World’: Where Are They Now?

264

What was ’90s television without Boy Meets World? It’s been 15 years since Cory, Topanga, Shawn, and all the other characters you laughed, cried, and grew up with have been on the air, yet the show remains a favorite—enough so that the Disney Channel even created the spin-off Girl Meets World last year, bringing most of the storylines (even Shawn’s girlfriend, Angela!) back to life. But what else have the beloved cast members been up to? Find out, ahead.

Ben Savage

After Boy Meets World went off the air in 2000, Ben Savage, who played the protagonist Cory Mathews, graduated with a degree in political science from Stanford University. He kept up with acting here and there, landing parts on shows like Bones and Chuck, before returning to the small screen full-time in 2014 on the Disney Channel’s Boy Meets World reboot, Girl Meets World.

Danielle Fishel

Danielle Fishel, who played Cory’s love interest, Topanga Lawrence, has made a name for herself as the host of numerous TV shows over the years, most famously Say What? Karaoke and the Style network’s clip show The Dish. Like Savage, she can currently be seen on Girl Meets World.

In 2012, at the age of 31, Fishel graduated from California State University, Fullerton. In a Tumblr post that year, Fishel wrote that she was initially hesitant to go to college out of fear of being “the old lady in class.” “After my 27th birthday, I made the decision to stop letting fear be a factor in fulfilling my dreams and living the life I wanted, so with a little encouragement from friends and family, I enrolled. And I went,” she wrote. Fishel also said she became a math tutor at Fullerton. According to her post, that’s how she eventually met her husband, Tim Belusko, whom she married in 2013. Fishel filed for divorce in March 2016.
